What these cover
These terms cover skolandhati.com, the Weekly and the breakdowns we send by email, and the Skol & Hati iPhone app, including the membership sold inside it. Using any of them means you accept them. Our privacy page says what we collect and what we never do with it.
General-audience information, not medical advice
Skol & Hati publishes general-audience information about training, nutrition, sleep and recovery, and the app builds training plans from published rules. None of it is medical advice, and none of it replaces a qualified professional who knows your situation. Consult one before starting a new exercise or nutrition program, especially with a medical condition, an injury, or a pregnancy.
Your responsibility
Training carries inherent risk. Scale loads and movements to your own level, follow the app’s cues as suggestions rather than orders, and stop if something hurts in a way that feels wrong. You use the plans, the players and the content at your own risk.
The membership
The app is free to install. The questions, the plan reveal, your first session and the ledger (your history, your numbers, your marks, the breakdowns and export) stay free. Building new weeks, the session players and the coaching layer are the membership, sold as an auto-renewable subscription through Apple’s App Store in two plans: yearly and monthly.
Price and period.The price is the one the App Store shows you on Apple’s purchase sheet before you confirm, in your local currency. The yearly plan renews every year and the monthly plan renews every month, at that price, charged to your Apple ID.
Renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Apple charges your Apple ID within 24 hours before the current period ends. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the membership stays open until the end of the period you already paid for.
Free trial. Both plans begin with a free trial of the length shown on the purchase sheet (seven days at launch). Nothing is charged during the trial. When the trial ends the subscription converts to the plan you chose and the first charge is made, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. The app shows one reminder before the trial ends, if you asked for it. One free trial per Apple ID.
Cancelling and switching.You manage the subscription in your Apple ID settings: on your iPhone, Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Skol & Hati. The app’s Membership screen opens that page for you. Cancel there at least 24 hours before the current period ends and you will not be charged again. Switching between monthly and yearly happens on the same page; the change takes effect at your next renewal. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
Refunds.Purchases are made through Apple, so refunds are Apple’s to grant under the App Store terms. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue App Store refunds ourselves. Nothing here limits any refund right you hold under the law where you live.
Price changes. A member whose subscription has stayed active keeps the price they signed up at. If we ever change a price, Apple notifies affected members in advance and, where required, asks for consent before the new price applies.
Apple’s terms
The app is distributed by Apple and your purchase is subject to the App Store terms. Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the app, available at apple.com/legal. Where these terms and Apple’s conflict on a purchase matter, Apple’s terms govern that purchase.
Your data
Your training data lives on your phone. You can export it as one file and delete it, from the app, at any time, on any tier. Deleting your data does not cancel a subscription; cancel that in your Apple ID settings first.
Content
Articles, the Weekly and the breakdowns are free to read and share with attribution. The app, its plans and its content are for your personal use; please don’t redistribute or resell them. We cite the research behind every rule, and the papers belong to their authors.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top is the version in force; a material change to the membership terms is announced in the app before it applies.
